The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Switzerland, Goran Bradić, and the Consul General in Zurich, Mihajlo Šaulić, visited the "Paul Scherer Institute" (PSI) in Filingen, which is the largest research institute for natural science and engineering research in Switzerland. The heads of individual PSI sectors introduced the Serbian diplomats to the establishment, development, functioning and work of the Institute, as well as its scientific and research capacities. Prof. Dr. Milan Radonjić presented the project "Quest" (QUEST - Quantummatter Electron SpecTroscopy), on which cooperation with Serbian institutions should begin soon. Ambassador Bradić and Consul General Šaulić toured part of the facilities and technical installations used for research and testing of materials, including the circular and tunnel particle accelerator. During the working lunch, Ambassador Bradić presented the hosts with the progress of Serbia and its institutions, primarily in the area of digitization, the establishment of several science and technology parks, the State Data Center in Kragujevac, the BIO4 campus, as well as plans for the international specialized exhibition Expo 2027. PSI representatives expressed their interest in receiving a number of our students and experts for professional training.
