Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Goran Bradić, presented his credentials to H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein and was accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Principality of Liechtenstein on a non-residential basis.
The ceremony ended with the conversation of Ambassador Goran Bradić with H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois, who expressed his desire to deepen good relations between the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Republic of Serbia. He was also interested in the situation in the Republic of Serbia, the consequences for the health of the population and the economy due to the pandemic caused by the corona virus, as well as the relaxation measures that are being implemented.
H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois expressed support for the Republic of Serbia in implementing reforms and fulfilling the conditions for full EU membership, as well as confidence that the EU will continue the enlargement process to the Western Balkans.
In a separate conversation with Ambassador Bradić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Dr. Katrin Eggenberger, emphasized that bilateral relations between two countries are good, with still untapped potential for their further development and intensification.
Minister Eggenberger expressed gratitude to the Republic of Serbia for good cooperation and mutual support in the international organizations, especially within the UN system, as well as for advocating the same views on the need to strengthen multilateralism, respect for international law and human rights.
