President of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Aleksandar Vučić paid a visit to Switzerland, 07-08. November, 2019. On that occasion, he participated at the “Strategic Dialogue on the Western Balkans – Leaders Meeting” in Geneva. The aim of the dialogue is to enhance and deepen regional and economic cooperation in order to strengthen the stability of the entire region, as well as to prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In addition to President A. Vučić and leaders from the region, in this year's gathering also participated: J. Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign and Security Policy, M. Chavousoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, E. Udolf-Strobl, Minister for Digitization and Economy of Austria, M. Palmer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States and special Representative for the Western Balkans and S. Chakrabarti, President of the EBRD.
The participants agreed to continue to enhance regional cooperation with the aim of fostering inclusive growth, increasing competitiveness and innovation, as well as preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
