Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Switzerland at the Celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Belp

Following the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy, celebrated by Their Graces Bishop Isihije of Valjevo, Bishop Andrej of Switzerland, and Archpriest-Stavrophor Stanko Marković, Archpriest of Switzerland, along with other distinguished representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Ambassador Trifunović addressed all those present, extended his congratulations on the feast, and expressed his gratitude to the Serbian Orthodox Church in Switzerland for its longstanding cooperation and support of the spiritual and cultural life of the Serbian community.

In his address, he emphasized the importance of nurturing unity and solidarity among all people in Switzerland who hold Serbia in their hearts, underlining that unity and faith are the strongest foundations for the preservation of national identity. He reminded that the Serbian diaspora in Switzerland plays a special role in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, as well as in representing Serbia in the best possible light.

The Ambassador underlined that the doors of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bern are always open to representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as to all members of our diaspora, with the conviction that through joint efforts we can preserve our spiritual, cultural, and national values and pass them on to future generations.
