On February 2, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Swiss Confederation, Goran Bradić, wished the rector of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Sremski Karlovci, Father Jovan, as well as the students of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, a warm welcome to the Embassy in Bern.

He introduced them to the basic tasks and priorities in the work of the Embassy, the Permanent Mission to International Organizations in Geneva, as well as the Consulate General in Zurich, focusing in particular on the importance of the work of the Serbian Supplementary School and cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church in Switzerland in preserving our language, Cyrillic script, faith, history and culture for the younger generations in the Serbian diaspora.

The choir of young Orthodox Theology students from Sremski Karlovci performed the hymn of the Republic of Serbia at the Embassy, as well as several patriotic songs, as a sign of gratitude for the reception, as well as to the host and organizer of the study trip, Archpriest-Staurophorus Father Stanko from the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Belp (Bern).
