President Vučić Awarded the Order of Friendship of the People’s Republic of China

This prestigious honor represents a strong confirmation of the high level of relations between Serbia and China, as well as recognition of the policy of cooperation, mutual respect, and strategic partnership that the two countries have been building for years. The awarding of the order is seen as an important diplomatic moment and another indication of the reputation Serbia enjoys on the international stage today.

During the ceremony in Beijing, it was emphasized that relations between Serbia and China have reached their highest level in modern history, with strong economic, political, and infrastructure cooperation. Particular attention was given to the importance of joint projects implemented in Serbia in recent years, as well as the fact that China is one of Serbia’s most important economic and strategic partners.

President Vučić stated that he sees this recognition as an honor for Serbia and its citizens, emphasizing that the Order of Friendship is proof of the sincere relationship and trust that exist between the two countries and peoples. He added that Serbia will continue to develop cooperation with China in the fields of economy, investments, infrastructure, technology, education, and innovation.

As part of the visit to Beijing, a number of agreements in various sectors were also signed, further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Serbia and China. The visit has been described as historic and one of the most significant in the contemporary diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.

The Order of Friendship of the People’s Republic of China is awarded rarely and represents one of the highest honors China can bestow upon a foreign statesman, recognizing exceptional contributions to the development of international friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding.
